Two waking trails will allow you to walk over the same groun that was hotly contested on December 13, 1862. 

 

 

 

Consists of a seven mile auto loop, the route provides you with an overview of this battle.

 

 

 

Located on route 20, provides a visual overview of this campain. The trail deals with the opening Union assault across Saunders Field and Confederate General John B. Gordons flank attack.

 

 

 

6 mile historic trail encompasses the majority of the field and concentrates on some of the hardest fighting of the war.
